The minute this young male was born, I knew he was very special. He had all the qualities that we could ask for. Correct conformation, personality plus, exquisite fiber, dynamite ears, and a winner in the show ring. He received his ALSA "Recognition of Merit" in halter at 11 months old and had received his ALSA "Halter Champion" award.
His sire, Merit, is a "Halter Champion" and his dam, Ida Vi, is one of my favorite and
best producing William Grey daughters.

Ripley died of kidney failure. An ecropsy was done but was inconclusive.

Losing him has been a big blow to me and the farm. I will miss him greatly.
